Eskimo Heat is now Eko Heat
Since 2001, we've been known as Eskimo, a name that helped us disrupt the heating industry with design-led radiators, intelligent electric systems, and an obsession with doing things better.
From May 2026, we're moving forward as EKO.

Why we're rebranding
This name change reflects more than just a brand refresh. It responds to the world we live and work in. One where cultural sensitivity matters, and where some of our customers helped us recognise it was time to evolve.
But EKO also stands for what we've become. It echoes our core belief: that the road to low-carbon living isn’t a solo journey. It resonates with the idea that progress happens when we align; with architects, engineers, developers, specifiers, and customers who all want smarter, cleaner heat.
And increasingly, with other companies who share our values - people and partners who aren’t just buying what we make, but collaborating with us to co-develop, integrate, and accelerate meaningful change. A movement.
Where we're located matters
We continue to manufacture in the UK, not just for quality and control, but to reduce the carbon impact of what we make. For years, we've partnered with highly skilled SME specialists across the country to keep our supply chain local, precise, and low impact. That spirit of collaboration and craft has always set us apart and remains fundamental to who we are.
Now, as EKO, we're building on that foundation, working with our trusted and growing network across the UK, while connecting with like-minded partners worldwide, who share our ambition to decarbonise heat. Wherever that mission echoes, we want to be part of it.
When will this happen?
The name may change, but everything else stays true:
- Our products, team and customer service remain exactly as you know them
- Our factory is still proudly ours, in Birmingham
- And our commitment to turn clever design into cleaner heat, for homes, people, and the planet, is stronger than ever
In May 2026 you’ll start to see EKO appear across our website, communications, and product materials. All Eskimo links and touchpoints will remain active as we transition.
How do you pronounce Eko?
It’s pronounced echo, but if you say eco, we won’t hold it against you. It works both ways. Low carbon, loud impact. We’re excited to move forward as EKO and to keep doing what we’ve always done best: Love making heat.
